WebOct 21, 2024 · The late Tom Dance's book about High Standard pistols written in 1991 as much as says that the Hamden guns are the best. However he makes little mention of the New Haven and East Haven guns. Based on the large number of errors in that book, one might question his other facts and opinions.

WebApr 30, 2006 · High Standard slide locks, when present, were all on the right side of fo the frame. The lever on the left side is the Safety. The slide lock in not an issue for the SK-100 variations - all SK-100s had the slide lock. All SK-100 barrels will fit all SK-100 frames - steel, aluminum, or nickel plated aluminum variations. The rear lips are radiused to keep the cartridge in the magazine. When fed the slide will push the rear of the cartridge forward.

Hi-Standard Sport King Lightweight SK-100 .22lr Took it down and cleaned it thoroughly with Prolix and Ramrodz Trigger pull is 3.1 lbs.
