However these studies have been retrospective. The authors assessed the use of the GAHS in the management of unselected patients with AH. WebValidation of the GAHS Patient population In total, 195 patients were studied. Of these, 65 (33.3%) had biopsy proven alcoholic hepatitis. Overall survival was 71% and 63% at days 28 and 84, respectively. Patients with an admission mDF of ⩾32 (n = 118) had a survival of 64% and 52% at days 28 and 84, respectively.
