WebI bought it at launch out of curiosity at launch (the 10% off launch special was nice too I guess) and was surprised at just how much I enjoyed it. Turn based gameplay was solid, storyline turned out to be decent and had a nice twist towards the end. As a writer myself, what I think happened was the original Earthlock, before this update, lacked development. The main plot line was poorly written & characters were just vessels. To add the extra meat to the main plot, it would require an entire script rewrite.
